Ewa Sadowska, 31, is a member of the Barka Foundation Board of Trustees and Chief Executive Officer of Barka UK and coordinator of the European Migrants Integration Network with projects in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, Ireland and Poland. Graduate of Palmer High School in Colorado, USA; holds a master degree in Ethno-Linguistics at the Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan, Poland and a post-graduate degree in the Social Economy Management from the Warsaw University.
Currently doing PhD at the University of Economics in Poznan; area of interest: Social Market Economy.
Experience:
Since 2009, the coordinator acting on behalf of the Alliance of Organisations Network for Cooperation BARKA in Poland’s government-commissioned project: “Creating and Developing Service Standards for Assistance and Social Integration’ (“Communal Standards for Overcoming Homelessness”).
Barbara Sadowska – born in 1957, psychologist, vice-president of the Barka Foundation for Mutual Help, a member of the Board of Barka UK, co-founder of an organizational and legal system for the integration and the social economy in Poland, President of the Barka Network, member of the Global Network of Social Entrepreneurs (Foundation was created by Klaus Schwab/ World Economic Forum (Davos, Switzerland), member of the Social Innovators “Ashoka” (USA), member of the System Solutions Group for the Social Economy.
Barka UK is a registered charity and is governed by a board of trustees. The organisation is always looking for talented and dedicated people to join our Board of Trustees. In particular, individuals with finance, fundraising, legal, immigration, communications/media, and social enterprise backgrounds experience are being sought.
