Convincing homeless Poles it’s better back in Poland
In the city of Utrecht, the Polish welfare organisation Barka is trying to convince homeless Poles that they should return to Poland, especially if they are addicted to alcohol or drugs.
The goal is to lessen the burden on homeless shelters in Utrecht, while removing language and cultural barriers that may be in the way of efforts to rehabilitate these people.
