SEC December 2011 summary for City and Tower Hamlets:

*SEC has been working with 31 clients in total from beginning of second year of our project

*there were 2 new referrals and 21 active client using our services;

* 3 clients have been in employment;

* 12 clients have had stable accommodation and 1 person moved in to private rented house;

* we helped 11 people to search for new employment opportunities;

* 1 client has been helped to apply for new passport;

* 1 client was supported with disability living allowance claim (DLA);

SEC had 164 contacts with clients in December. We delivered 51 job support sessions and interviews, 20 meetings were held for legal advice, 14 therapeutic sessions, 5 accommodation sessions.

SEC December 2011 summary for Lambeth:

*SEC has been working with 10 clients since our operation started in Lambeth

*there was 3 new referrals to SEC program and 9 active client using our services;

*1 client has started new job in December and we helped him to find private accommodation;

*1 client has been helped to apply for new passport;

*SEC assisted 1 client to open bank account;
*1 client applied for NIN confirmation from DWP;

*SEC has helped 1 client to complete 5 tax returns to HMRC for self-employed person within construction industry.
SEC completed 45 sessions in total: 2 therapy sessions, 11 job support sessions and7 legal advice sessions. We supported 3 people who taken necessary steps to start to look for employment.

SEC October 2011 summary for City and Tower Hamlets:

* SEC has been working with 23 clients in total from beginning of second year of our project;

* there were 13 active clients in October including 5 new referrals;

* 8 clients have had stable long-term accommodation;

* 12 people were looking for work and 2 were still in employment at the end of October;

* 1 client applied with SEC for passport;

* 1 client was helped to open bank account;

* 1 client upgraded his qualification with health and safety CSCS card;

* SEC helped two clients to complete 3 self-assessments and applied to remove penalties in HMRC;

* 1 working client was booked to use free hostel accommodation but finally he did not take up this offer.

October was much busier period for SEC comparing to previous few months and we completed 191 contacts with our clients. Job support sessions were most active among our users with 54 sessions and interviews provided. SEC also helped 7 clients with therapy during 26 meetings with them and 8 people got legal help during 29 sessions. There was 1 person who finished SEC program at the end of October.

SEC October 2011 summary for Lambeth:

* SEC has been working with 2 clients since our operation started in Lambeth;

* there was 2 new referrals to SEC program.

SEC completed 14 sessions in total: 3 job supports, 3 therapy sessions and 8 general contacts. One of our clients did decide himself do not follow up with our program.

SEC September 2011 summary

* SEC has been working with 18 clients in total from beginning of second year of our project;

* there were 11 active clients in September including 1 new referral;

* 9 clients have had stable long-term accommodation;

* 7 people actively looked for work and got our full support; 6 clients have been helped to find new employment or start temporary probation work;

* 2 client applied for EHIC card;

* 1 client applied for bank account

* 1 client appealed against court decision and won his case.

SEC performed 165 sessions in September. The most popular activity among our duties were job support sessions and preparing for job including English classes. There were number of people who started trial work which is very good news but finally were not accepted for permanent employment. There were 61 job support sessions and interviews. SEC also helped 7 clients with legal issues. The most active sessions were job support sessions (61), legal advice (26) and therapeutic sessions (25). There was 1 person who left our project after being at SEC for 6 months.

SEC August 2011 summary:

*SEC has been working with 17 clients in total from beginning of second year ofour project;

*there were 10 active clients in August including 1 new referral;

*3 clients have been helped to find new employment;

*8 clients have had stable long-term accommodation;

*8 people actively looked for work and get our full support;

*1 client applied for CSCS card;

*1 client applied for NI number;

*1 client engaged in employment has been helped to benefit from hostel/B&B accommodation help from City and Tower Hamlets Boroughs;

SEC performed 281 sessions in August in total. There were 8 clients who benefited from job support sessions and interviews, 10 clients were helped with legal advice during 34 legal sessions. The most active sessions were job support sessions (64) and therapeutic sessions (52). There was one person who left our project being helped at SEC for last 6 months.

SEC July 2011 summary:

* SEC has been working with 16 clients in total from beginning of second year of
our project;

*there were 11 active clients in July with no new referrals;

*1 client has been in active employment;

*6 clients have had stable long-term accommodation;

*8 people actively looked for work and get our full support;

*2 clients applied for Job Seeker Allowance;

*1 client has been helped to appeal court fine;

*there were 7 self-assessments filled to HMRC;

SEC performed 253 sessions in July in total. There were 8 clients who benefited from job support sessions and interviews, 8 clients were helped with legal advice during 28 legal sessions. The most active sessions were job support sessions (87) and therapeutic sessions (46). There was one graduate person who left our project at the end of July and one was discharged because of very poor attendance in last 6 weeks.

SEC June 2011 summary:

* SEC has been working with 16 clients in total from beginning of second year of our project

* There were 13 active clients in June;

* 5 new clients have been referred to SEC this month;

* 1 client has been in active employment;

* 3 clients have had private, stable long-term accommodation;

* 2 clients have been helped to apply for new passport;

* 1 client applied to open new bank account;

* 2 clients have been prepared and passed CSCS exams;

* There were 8 self-assessments filled to HMRC;

* 1 client has been helped with JSA claim, 1 with DLA and 2 applied for joint housing and council tax benefit to local council.

SEC performed 282 sessions in June in total where 8 clients have benefited from job support sessions and interviews, 9 clients were helped with legal advice during 46 legal sessions. The most active sessions were job support sessions (85) and therapeutic sessions (59). There was 1 graduate and 1discharged client at the end of the month.

* there have not been any clients referred to SEC this month;

* SEC has done 1 referral to partners’ services for therapy;

* 2 clients have been still in employment out of total active April clients and 5 were supported into employment;

* 4 clients have had a stable accommodation;

* 1 client has been helped to apply for NIN;

* 1 clients have been helped to apply for JSA;

SEC performed 130 sessions in April in total where 5 clients have benefited from job support sessions and interviews, 6 clients were helped with legal advice during 18 legal sessions. The most active sessions were job support sessions (37) and therapeutic sessions (25). There were 2 discharged clients from SEC services.

SEC March 2011 summary

SEC has been working with 59 clients in total and with 14 active clients in March;

* 3 new clients have been referred to SEC this month;

* SEC has done 3 referrals to partners’ services for English classes;

* 3 clients have been still in employment out of active March clients;

* 3 clients have had a stable long-term accommodation;

* 2 clients have been helped to apply for new passport;

* 2 clients have been helped to open new bank accounts;

* There were 3 self-assessments and 4 tax claims we submitted on behalf of our clients;

* 1 client has been helped with tax credit application and 2 of them with job seeker allowance at Jobcentre Plus.

SEC performed 320 sessions in March in total where 9 clients have benefited from job support sessions and interviews, 7 clients were helped with legal advice during 31 legal sessions. The most active sessions were job support sessions (90) and therapeutic sessions (79). There was 1 discharged client and 1 for whom SEC program has ended at the end of the month.

SEC February summary:

* SEC has been working with 56 clients in total and with 16 active clients in February;

* 4 new clients have been referred to SEC this month;

* SEC has done 2 referrals to partners’ services for hostels;

* 6 clients have been in employment out of active February clients;

* 8 clients have had a stable long-term accommodation;

* 2 clients have been helped to apply for new passport;

* 1 client has been helped with National Insurance Number application;

* 1 clients has been helped with 2 tax applications: self-assessment and tax claim.

All February clients had 191 sessions in total where 7 clients have benefited from job support sessions and interviews, 7 clients were helped with legal advice during 29 legal sessions. The most active sessions were therapeutic sessions and job support sessions. There were 2 graduate clients whose programs ended in February.

SEC January summary:

* SEC has been working with 52 clients in total and with 21 active clients in January;

* 2 new client has been referred to SEC this month;

* SEC has done 2 referrals to partners’ services for hostels;

* 13 clients have been in active employment;

* 15 clients have had a stable long-term accommodation but still 7 of them needed support with accommodation issues;

* 1 client has been helped to apply for new passport;

* 1 clients has been helped to clear his situation for tax issues and to register him with Job Centre Plus for Job Seeker Allowance

* all December clients had 199 sessions in total where 11 clients have benefited from job support sessions, 9 clients was helped with legal advice during 24 legal sessions. The most active sessions were job support sessions following by therapeutic sessions.
