A short film of a street art piece that was painted on Hanbury Street in Tower Hamlets, London – with Barka’s contribution

Firstly, we made a short film of a street art piece that was painted on Hanbury Street and we included a very brief section of you talking. We released that short in February of this year. The little film went viral. Even online journals like Huffington Post covered it: link
Most of the major street art blogs covered it like Wooster Collective etc. It soon notched up thousands of hits. I believe the homelessness angle chimes well with the canvas of the artists and hence it has been well received. Nevertheless we never expected it to make the official selection of the 2011 Rushes Soho Shorts film festival: link
It will show at the ICA on 23 July 2011 : link
