Maciej Golabek and Robert Żywczyk intend to take part in the expedition to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in February 2015. As part of this project, Maciej and Robert are fundraising for Barka in London. The fundraising is going to be conducted over the next seven months (until the day of the expedition).
The concert ”Friends for Barka UK” in Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London
Over the last three years, we have witnessed rough sleeping rising steeply across the country and by a massive 75 per cent in London. We understand that in the long run prevention is the only way to change this difficult situation.
The concert which was organised by Embassy of the Republic of Poland had as a purpose raising awareness about the issue of homelessness of Central and Eastern European migrants in the UK and the work of Barka UK in tackling it.

Sunday, 4th of May in London, was dominated by the new and very successful event – Days of Poland, a Polish festival which took place in Potters Fields Park, in the heart of London, near Tower Bridge.
The originators and organisers of the festival are two sisters and business partners, Ewelina and Justyna Krzysztofik, owners of the PR company, 2SistersPR. The aim of the event is promoting Polish culture among London dwellers and providing everyone with an opportunity to enjoy themselves.
