Barka UK – an official partner of the Days of Poland Festival
Sunday, 4th of May in London, was dominated by the new and very successful event – Days of Poland, a Polish festival which took place in Potters Fields Park, in the heart of London, near Tower Bridge.
The originators and organisers of the festival are two sisters and business partners, Ewelina and Justyna Krzysztofik, owners of the PR company, 2SistersPR. The aim of the event is promoting Polish culture among London dwellers and providing everyone with an opportunity to enjoy themselves.
Great music, delicatessens of Polish cuisine and the gorgeous May weather attracted vast numbers of people. The visiting crowds surpassed all expectations of the organisers and exhibitors who were presenting their products at the stalls. The atmosphere was colourful and cheerful.
Barka UK was invited by the organisers to take part in the event as an official partner of the festival. The team from Barka UK was met with a warm welcome and great interest from the festival goers. Barka UK leaders, who are people who themselves have experienced addiction and social exclusion in the past, and now with the example of their own lives help those who are still struggling with homelessness and addiction, were sharing their personal stories and experiences and answering questions of those who gathered around Barka UK’s stall.
The organisers have already taken first steps to preparations for the next edition of the Days of Poland Festival. See you next year!
